甘肃农业大学是农业农村部和甘肃省人民政府共建大学、国家重点建设的中西部百所高校之一、甘肃省高水平大学。学校坐落在兰州市安宁区，占地158万平方米，建筑面积70万平方米。现设有23个学院（教学部），有68个本科专业，拥有食品科学与工程等11个国家级一流本科专业，动物医学等5个国家级特色专业，生物技术等18个省级一流本科专业；1个国家级重点学科（草业科学），1个农业部重点学科和18个省级重点学科。5个博士后科研流动站，8个一级学科博士学位授权点，1个交叉学科博士学位授权点，1个博士专业学位授权类别，19个一级学科硕士学位授权点，11个硕士专业学位授权类别。

学校有教职工1583人，现有普通本科在校生17459人，硕士研究生3880人，博士研究生659人，外国留学生43人。

学校注重国际合作与交流，积极推进教育对外开放。与美国德州理工大学、西班牙马德里理工大学、新西兰梅西大学、马其顿信息科学与技术大学、尼泊尔农林大学和乌兹别克斯坦乌尔根奇国立大学等20多个国家的70多所大学和科研机构建立了长期稳定的合作关系，积极推进与国境外高水平大学在师资交流、人才培养、科学研究等方面的合作。

2024年外国留学生招生工作现已开始，现将具体事宜公布如下：

一、招生类别和名额

学历生：博士研究生、硕士研究生共计30人

二、招生学科和专业

我校具有博士、硕士学位授予权的学科专业均招收外国留学生接受学历教育。详见甘肃农业大学外国留学生招生专业目录（附件1、附件2）。

三、学习方式和学习年限

1. 攻读学位的外国留学生学习方式为全日制。

我校实行双学期制，第一个学期九月至一月，第二个学期二月至七月。

2. 硕士生学制为3年，博士生为4年。

四、汉语要求

申请2024年秋季入学的学生须有一定的汉语基础，在开始专业课学习前须取得相应级别的HSK等级证书。

攻读学位的硕士研究生入学（2024年9月）前须具有HSK等级证书，为新四级200分。

攻读学位的博士研究生入学（2024年9月）前须具有HSK等级证书，为新三级180分。

五、申请资格

1. 申请人须为非中国籍公民，持有效外国护照，身心健康，品行端正，对华友好，遵守中国政府的法律、法规和学校的规章制度。

2. 申请人的学历和年龄要求：

攻读硕士学位者，必须本科毕业或具有同等学历，年龄不超过36周岁；

攻读博士学位者，必须硕士毕业或具有同等学历，年龄不超过42周岁。

六、提交申请材料

所有申请人需在“甘肃农业大学国际学生在线服务系统”https://gsau.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx注册填报申请信息，并上传相应申请材料，包括：

1. 最高学历证明及成绩单（需公证）；

2. 推荐信：两名教授或副教授的推荐信，用中文或英文书写；

3. 汉语或英语水平证明： HSK考试成绩单或其它汉语学习证明、托福或雅思证书或其他英语水平证明；

4. 在职或在校证明：申请人如果是在校学生或在职工作，需提交本人就读学校或工作单位出具的在学证明或在职证明；

5. 来华学习或研究计划；

6. 800字中文或英文个人陈述：内容应包括个人学习、工作经历（如有）、学术研究成果、以前学习阶段的研究计划等。

7. 外国人体格检查记录：所在地出入境检验检疫局出具的外国人体格检查表。申请人应严格按照《外国人体格检查记录》中要求的项目进行检查，体检表过期、缺项、未贴本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医师或医院签字盖章的《外国人体格检查记录》无效；

8. 本人所属国办理无犯罪记录证明，并同时附中文译本；持上述公证书到其所属国外交部授权机构、以及中国驻该国领事馆认证；或到其在中国居留期间居住地派出所，出具无犯罪记录证明；

9. 经济担保（如：银行存款证明）；

七、申请截止时间

申请者请于2024年6月10日前提交材料。

八、入学资格及时间

我校根据外国留学生的基本情况、申请专业师资情况、导师意见和学校意见择优录取，审核通过后，将向录取学生发放《录取通知书》和JW-202表。

开学时间：2024年9月、2025年3月，学生必须持录取通知书按期到校报到。未履行延期手续，超过报到时间15天者，取消入学资格。

九、费用

我校为品学兼优的硕、博士外国留学生提供“甘肃农业大学校长奖学金”，博士外国留学生优先录取。

奖学金包括：

博士专业学习阶段：正常学制年限内（4年），免学费及住宿费，提供1000元/月生活补助（共10个月，寒暑假除外）。

硕士专业学习阶段：正常学制年限内（3年），免学费及住宿费，提供1000元/月生活补助（共10个月，寒暑假除外）。

其它费用如注册费、体检费、书本费、保险费、生活费、杂费等自理。

Admission Notice of Gansu Agricultural University for International Students（2024 — 2025 Academic Year）

Gansu Agricultural University (GAU) is located on the picturesque Yellow River bank in Anning District of Lanzhou. Its predecessor was the National Veterinary College founded in Lanzhou in October 1946, covering an area of 1.58 million square meters and a building area of 700,000 square meters. At present, there are 23 colleges (teaching departments), 69 undergraduate majors, 11 national first-class undergraduate majors, 5 national characteristic majors, and 18 provincial first-class undergraduate majorsy; 1 national key discipline (Grassland Science), 1 Ministry of Agriculture key discipline and 18 provincial key disciplines. There are 5 post-doctoral research mobile stations, 8 first-class discipline doctoral degree authorization points, 1 interdisciplinary doctoral degree authorization point, 1 professional doctoral degree authorization category, 19 first-class discipline master degree authorization points, and 11 professional degree authorization categories. GAU has 1583teaching staff.At present, there are 17459 undergraduate students, 3880 master's students, 659 doctoral students and 43 international students.

The University attaches great importance to international exchange and cooperation, and maintains academic exchange relations with more than 70 universities and scientific research institutions in 20 countries, including the United States,Spain,NewZealandandNepal. Scholars from both sides visit each other, conduct scientific research cooperation and send teachers and students to study abroad.

The recruitment of international students in the autumn of 2024 has started. The details are as follows:

1. Enrollment Category and Quota

Degree candidates: 30 doctoral candidates and master candidates in total.

2. Disciplines and Majors

GAU has the right to confer doctoral and master's degrees, and all disciplines and majors recruit international students to receive academic education. For details, please refer to the major catalog of international student enrollment of Gansu Agricultural University (Annex 1 and Annex 2).

3. Mode and Length of Study

(1)Mode: Full-time (Two semesters: September to January, February to June)

(2)Length of Study: Master: 3 years; Doctoral: 4 years

4. Chinese Language Requirements

Applicants should have the basic knowledge of Chinese, and obtain the corresponding level of HSK certificate before starting professional courses.

An effective HSK certificate (level 4, mark 200) is required for an applicant for the Master Degree program.

An effective HSK certificate (level 3, mark 180) is required for an applicant for the PhD program.

5. Eligibility

(1) The applicant must be non-Chinese with a valid passport, be in good health and have no criminal record, will observe all the laws of China as well as the rules and regulations of GAU.

(2) Educational background and age requirements of the applicant:

Applicants for Master Degree studies must finish a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent and aged under 36.

Applicants for Doctoral Degree studies must finish a Master’s Degree or its equivalent and aged under 42.

6. Application Materials

All applicants should register on "International Student Online Service System of Gansu Agricultural University”https://gsau.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspxto complete application procedure as required:

(1) The Certificate of applicant’s highest degree and the transcript should be notarized;

(2) Two recommendation letters (Chinese or English) by different professors or associate professors;

(3) Certificate of Chinese or English proficiency: HSK test transcripts or other Chinese learning certificates; TOEFL or IELTS certificate, or other English proficiency certificate;

(4) Working or Studying Certificate for applicants who are currently study in or work for;

Study or research plan in Chinese or English;

800 words personal statement in Chinese or English: The contents should include personal study, work experience (if any), academic research achievements, research plans in previous study stages, etc;

(7) Physical examination record of foreigners: the physical examination form of foreigners issued by local entry exit inspection and Quarantine Bureau. Applicant shall carry out the examination in strict accordance with the items required in the record of physical examination for foreigners. Incomplete records, forms without the attending physician’s signature, official stamp of the hospital, or a photograph of the applicants are invalid;

(8) No Criminal Record issued by applicants’ country, accompanied by a Chinese translation; With the above notarial certificate to the authorized agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the applicants’ country, and the Chinese Consulate in applicant’s country to certify; Or go to the police station where applicants live during the stay in China and issue a certificate of no criminal record;

(9) Economic Assurance (e.g. Bank statement);

7. Application Deadline

Applicants are requested to submit materials beforeJune10, 2024

8. Approval and Enrollment

GAU will make the decision whether to admit the applicants according to the basic situation of the foreign students, the application of professional teachers, mentors' opinions and opinions of the school. After the examination and approval, the Admission Letter and JW-202 form will be issued to the admitted students.

Opening time: September 2024, March 2025; Students must report to the University on time with the letter of admission. Those who fail to fulfill the extension procedures and report for more than 15 days will be disqualified.

9. Fees

GAU sets the GAU President Scholarship for Mater and Doctoral (priority) applicants which includes:

Doctoral professional study stage: free tuition and accommodation (4 years); and provide 1000 Yuan / month living allowance (a total of 10 months, except winter and summer vacation).

Master professional study stage: free tuition and accommodation (3 years), and provide 1000 Yuan / month living allowance (a total of 10 months, except winter and summer vacation).

Other expenses, e.g., registration fee, physical exam fee, book fee, insurance fee and other expense will be afforded by students.
