甘肃农业大学坐落在兰州市安宁区，地处规划中的兰州市新城中心。前身是1946年10月创建于兰州的国立兽医学院，占地2378亩，校舍建筑面积70万平方米。

现设有23个学院（教学部），68个本科专业，拥有食品科学与工程等11个国家级一流本科专业，动物医学等5个国家级特色专业，生物技术等18个省级一流本科专业；1个国家级重点学科（草业科学），1个农业部重点学科和18个省级重点学科。5个博士后科研流动站，8个一级学科博士学位授权点，1个交叉学科博士学位授权点，1个专业博士学位授权类别，19个一级学科硕士学位授权点，11个专业学位授权类别。有国家重点实验室1个，农业农村部饲草种质创新与新品种选育重点实验室(部省共建)1个，国家级实验教学示范中心1个，国家林草局高寒鼠害防控工程技术研究中心1个，省级实验教学示范中心14个，省部共建和省级重点实验室、工程实验室以及各类研究中心（基地）52个。

学校十分重视国际交流与合作，同美国、澳大利亚、英国、俄罗斯、日本、埃及等20个国家的近80多所大学和科研机构保持着学术交流关系，双方学者相互考察访问，进行科研协作和派遣教师进修、学生留学等。

一、招生类别和名额

学历生：博士研究生、硕士研究生共计招生15-25人。

二、招生学科和专业

我校具有博士、硕士学位授予权的学科专业均招收外国留学生接受学历教育。详见甘肃农业大学外国留学生招生专业目录（附件1、附件2）。

三、学习方式和学习年限

1. 攻读学位的外国留学生学习方式为全日制。

我校实行双学期制，第一个学期九月至一月，第二个学期二月至七月。

2. 学术型硕士研究生学制为3年，学术型博士研究生学制为4年。

四、汉语要求

申请2025年秋季入学的学生须有一定的汉语基础，在开始专业课学习前须取得相应级别的HSK等级证书。

攻读学位的硕士研究生入学（2025年8月下旬）前须具有HSK等级证书，为新四级200分。

攻读学位的博士研究生入学（2025年8月下旬）前须具有HSK等级证书，为新三级180分。

五、申请资格

1. 申请人须为非中国籍公民，持有效外国护照，身心健康，品行端正，对华友好，遵守中国政府的法律、法规和学校的规章制度。

2. 申请人的学历和年龄要求：

攻读硕士学位者，必须本科毕业或具有同等学历，年龄不超过36周岁；

攻读博士学位者，必须硕士毕业或具有同等学历，年龄不超过42周岁。

六、提交申请材料

所有申请人需在“甘肃农业大学国际学生在线服务系统” https://gsau.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx 注册填报申请信息，并上传相应申请材料，包括：

1. 最高学历证明及成绩单（需公证）；

2. 推荐信：两名教授或副教授的推荐信，用中文或英文书写；

3. 汉语或英语水平证明： HSK考试成绩单或其它汉语学习证明、托福或雅思证书或其他英语水平证明；

4. 在职或在校证明：申请人如果是在校学生或在职工作，需提交本人就读学校或工作单位出具的在学证明或在职证明；

5. 来华学习或研究计划；

6. 800字中文或英文个人陈述：内容应包括个人学习、工作经历（如有）、学术研究成果、以前学习阶段的研究计划等。

7. 外国人体格检查记录：所在地出入境检验检疫局出具的外国人体格检查表。申请人应严格按照《外国人体格检查记录》中要求的项目进行检查，体检表过期、缺项、未贴本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医师或医院签字盖章的《外国人体格检查记录》无效；

8. 本人所属国办理无犯罪记录证明，并同时附中文译本；持上述公证书到其所属国外交部授权机构、以及中国驻该国领事馆认证；或到其在中国居留期间居住地派出所，出具无犯罪记录证明；

9. 经济担保（如：银行存款证明）。

七、申请截止时间

申请者请于2025年5月31日前提交材料。

八、入学资格及时间

我校根据外国留学生的基本情况、申请专业师资情况、导师意见和学校意见择优录取，审核通过后，将向录取学生发放《录取通知书》和JW-202表。

开学时间：2025年8月下旬、2026年2月下旬，学生必须持录取通知书按期到校报到。未履行延期手续，超过报到时间15天者，取消入学资格。

九、费用

我校为品学兼优的硕、博士外国留学生提供“甘肃农业大学校长奖学金”，博士外国留学生优先录取。

奖学金包括：

博士专业学习阶段：正常学制（4年）年限内，免学费及住宿费，提供1000元/月生活补助（共10个月，寒暑假除外）。

硕士专业学习阶段：正常学制（3年）年限内，免学费及住宿费，提供1000元/月生活补助（共10个月，寒暑假除外）。

其它费用如注册费、体检费、书本费、保险费、生活费、杂费等自理。

Admission Notice of Gansu Agricultural University

for International Students (Academic Year 2025–2026)

Gansu Agricultural University (GAU) is located in Anning District, Lanzhou City, in the center of the planned new city of Lanzhou. Its predecessor was the National Veterinary College, founded in October 1946 in Lanzhou. The university covers an area of approximately 158.5 hectares and has a total building area of 700,000 square meters.

Currently, Gansu Agricultural University has 23 colleges (teaching departments) and offers 68 undergraduate programs. It hosts 11 national first-class undergraduate programs, including Food Science and Engineering, and 5 nationally recognized specialty programs, such as Veterinary Medicine. Additionally, it has 18 provincial-level first-class undergraduate programs, including Biotechnology. The university is home to 1 national key discipline (Grassland Science), 1 key discipline designated by the Ministry of Agriculture, and 18 provincial key disciplines.

The university has 5 postdoctoral research stations, 8 first-level discipline doctoral degree authorization points, 1 interdisciplinary doctoral degree authorization point, 1 professional doctoral degree authorization category, 19 first-level discipline master's degree authorization points, and 11 professional master's degree authorization categories.

It possesses 1 national key laboratory, 1 key laboratory jointly built by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the provincial government for forage germplasm innovation and new variety breeding, 1 national experimental teaching demonstration center, and 1 engineering technology research center for alpine rodent control under the National Forestry and Grassland Administration. In addition, there are 14 provincial-level experimental teaching demonstration centers and 52 provincial and ministerial key laboratories, engineering laboratories, and various research centers (bases).

The university places great importance on international exchange and cooperation. It maintains academic exchange relationships with more than 80 universities and research institutions in over 20 countries, including the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, Russia, Japan, and Egypt. Scholars from both sides engage in mutual visits, collaborate on scientific research, and participate in programs such as faculty training and student exchange.

Our university enrolls international students of various categories and has specially established the "Gansu Agricultural University President's Scholarship for International Students" to attract outstanding international students with excellent academic performance and conduct.

The enrollment process for international students for the 2025–2026 academic year has now begun. The specific details are as follows:

1. Enrollment Category and Quota

Degree-Seeking Students: A total of 15–25 students will be admitted for doctoral and master's programs.

2. Disciplines and Majors

All disciplines and majors at our university that are authorized to confer doctoral and master's degrees are open to international students for degree education.

3. Mode and Length of Study

International students pursuing degrees will study on a full-time basis.

(1) Mode: Full-time (Two semesters: September to January, February to June)

(2) Length of Study: Master: 3 years; Doctoral: 4 years.

4. Chinese Language Requirements

Students applying for admission in the autumn of 2025 must have a certain level of Chinese proficiency and must obtain the corresponding level of HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) certificate before starting their professional courses.

For master's degree students, an HSK certificate with a score of at least 200 in the new HSK Level 4 is required before enrollment (late August 2025).

For doctoral degree students, an HSK certificate with a score of at least 180 in the new HSK Level 3 is required before enrollment (late August 2025).

5. Application Eligibility

(1) Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens holding a valid foreign passport, in good physical and mental health, with good character, friendly towards China, and has to obey the laws and regulations of the Chinese government as well as the rules and regulations of the university.

(2) Academic and age requirements for applicants:

For master's degree programs: Applicants must have a bachelor's degree or an equivalent academic qualification and be under 36 years old.

For doctoral degree programs: Applicants must have a master's degree or an equivalent academic qualification and be under 42 years old.

6. Submission of Application Materials

All applicants must register and fill out the application information on the “Gansu Agricultural University International Student Online Service System” at https://gsau.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx, and upload the following required application materials:

(1) Certificate of highest academic degree and transcript (notarized).

(2) Letters of Recommendation: Two letters of recommendation written in Chinese or English by professors or associate professors.

(3) Proof of Chinese or English language proficiency: HSK test certificate or other proof of Chinese language study, or TOEFL/IELTS certificates or other proof of English proficiency.

(4) Certificate of Enrollment or Employment: If the applicant is currently a student or employed, a certificate of enrollment from the school or a certificate of employment from the workplace must be provided.

(5) Study or Research Plan in China.

(6) Personal Statement (800 words in Chinese or English): The content should include personal study and work experience (if any), academic research achievements, and research plans for previous stages of study, among other relevant details.

(7) Foreigner Physical Examination Form: Issued by the local Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau. Applicants must strictly follow the required items in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Forms that are expired, incomplete, missing a personal photo, missing a seal across the photo, or lacking the signature/seal of the physician or hospital are considered invalid.

(8) Certificate of No Criminal Record: Issued by the relevant authority in the applicant's home country, along with a Chinese translation. The notarized certificate must be authenticated by the authorized agency of the applicant's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and certified by the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in that country. Alternatively, applicants residing in China may obtain a certificate of no criminal record from the local police station in their place of residence.

(9) Financial Guarantee (such as a bank deposit certificate).

7. Application Deadline

Applicants must submit all required materials by May 31, 2025.

8. Admission and Enrollment

Based on the applicant's overall qualifications, the availability of faculty in the chosen major, recommendations from prospective supervisors, and the university's review, Gansu Agricultural University will select the best candidates for admission. After approval, the university will issue the Admission Notice and the JW-202 Form to the admitted students.

Enrollment Time: Late August 2025 or late February 2026.

Students must report to the university with the Admission Notice within the specified time.

Those who fail to register within 15 days without prior approval for deferment will have their admission qualification canceled.

9. Expenses

Gansu Agricultural University offers the President’s Scholarship to outstanding international master’s and doctoral students, with priority given to doctoral applicants.

The scholarship covers:

Doctoral Degree Programs: Within the normal study period (4 years), tuition and accommodation fees are waived. A living stipend of 1,000 RMB per month is provided (for 10 months each academic year, excluding winter and summer vacations).

Master’s Degree Programs: Within the normal study period (3 years), tuition and accommodation fees are waived.

A living stipend of 1,000 RMB per month is provided (for 10 months each academic year, excluding winter and summer vacations).

Other expenses such as registration fees, physical examination fees, textbook fees, insurance fees, personal living expenses, and miscellaneous costs must be covered by the student.
