学校先后与30多个国家的80多所大学、科研机构和国际组织签署合作协议，在学生联合培养、学术交流和科研合作等方面开展务实交流与合作。设立“甘肃农业大学外国留学生校长奖学金”，吸引优秀外国留学生来校攻读硕、博士学位。

2025-2026学年春季外国留学生招生工作现已开始，现将具体事宜公布如下：

一、招生类别和名额

学历生：博士研究生、硕士研究生共计招生5人。

二、招生学科和专业

我校具有博士、硕士学位授予权的相关学科专业招收外国留学生接受学历教育。详见甘肃农业大学外国留学生招生专业目录（附件1、附件2）。

三、学习方式和学习年限

1.我校招收的外国留学生学习方式为全日制。

我校实行双学期制，第一个学期9月至次年1月，第二个学期3月至7月。

2.学术型硕士研究生学制为3年，学术型博士研究生学制为4年。

3.此次招收的留学生将于2026年3月-7月，统一集中学习汉语，2026年9月进入相应专业开始课程学习。

四、汉语要求

对于申请2026年春季入学的学生，可以适当放宽汉语水平要求，在开始专业课学习前须取得相应级别的HSK等级证书。

攻读学位的硕士研究生入学（2026年8月下旬）前须取得HSK等级证书，为新四级200分。

攻读学位的博士研究生入学（2026年8月下旬）前须取得HSK等级证书，为新三级180分。

五、申请资格

1. 申请人须为非中国籍公民，持有效外国护照，身心健康，品行端正，对华友好，遵守中国政府的法律、法规和学校的规章制度。

2. 申请人的学历和年龄要求：

攻读硕士学位者，必须已获得学士学位或具有同等学历，原则上年龄不超过35周岁；

攻读博士学位者，必须已获得硕士学位或具有同等学历，原则上年龄不超过45周岁。

六、提交申请材料

所有申请人需在“甘肃农业大学国际学生在线服务系统” https://gsau.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx 注册填报申请信息，并上传相应申请材料，包括：

1. 最高学历证明及成绩单（需公证）；

2. 推荐信：两名教授或副教授的推荐信，用中文或英文书写；

3. 汉语或英语水平证明：HSK考试成绩单或其它汉语学习证明、托福或雅思证书或其他英语水平证明；

4. 在职或在校证明：申请人如果是在校学生或在职工作，需提交本人就读学校或工作单位出具的在学证明或在职证明；

5. 来华学习或研究计划；

6. 800字中文或英文个人陈述：内容应包括个人学习、工作经历（如有）、学术研究成果、以前学习阶段的研究计划等。

7. 外国人体格检查记录：所在地出入境检验检疫局出具的外国人体格检查表。申请人应严格按照《外国人体格检查记录》中要求的项目进行检查，体检表过期、缺项、未贴本人照片或照片上未盖骑缝章、无医师或医院签字盖章的《外国人体格检查记录》无效；

8. 本人所属国办理无犯罪记录证明，并同时附中文译本；持上述公证书到其所属国外交部授权机构、以及中国驻该国领事馆认证；或到其在中国居留期间居住地派出所，出具无犯罪记录证明；

9. 经济担保（如：银行存款证明）。

七、申请截止时间

申请者请于2025年12月15日前提交材料。

八、入学资格及时间

我校根据外国留学生的基本情况、申请专业师资情况、导师意见和学校意见择优录取，审核通过后，将向录取学生发放《录取通知书》和JW-202表。

报到注册时间：2026年3月1日-3月5日，学生必须持录取通知书按期到校报到。未履行延期手续，超过报到时间7天者，取消入学资格。

九、费用

我校为品学兼优的硕、博士外国留学生提供“甘肃农业大学校长奖学金”，博士外国留学生优先录取。

1. 留学生生活补助：

汉语补习阶段：免学费及住宿费，提供1000元/月生活补助（共5个月，3-7月）。

2. 校长奖学金：

博士专业学习阶段：正常学制（4年）期限内，免学费及住宿费，提供1000元/月生活补助（共10个月，寒假、暑假除外）。

硕士专业学习阶段：正常学制（3年）期限内，免学费及住宿费，提供1000元/月生活补助（共10个月，寒假、暑假除外）。

其它费用如注册费、体检费、书本费、保险费（请在来华前购买，确保入境后保险已生效）、生活费、杂费等自理。

Admission Guidelines for International Students of

Gansu Agricultural University

(Spring Semester of 2025-2026 Academic Year)

Gansu Agricultural University (GAU) is a university co-constructed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People's Republic of China and the People's Government of Gansu Province. It is one of the key universities in the central and western regions under national construction and a high-level university in Gansu Province. As a teaching and research-oriented university, it takes agricultural disciplines as its advantages and characteristics, with coordinated development of multiple disciplines including science, engineering, economics, management and literature. The university aims to build a high-level university with prominent advantages and distinctive features, adheres to the educational philosophy of "promoting human health and benefiting national livelihood", and is rooted in Gansu, serving the western region and radiating the whole country. It has made remarkable achievements in talent training, scientific research, social services and cultural inheritance, providing strong intellectual support and talent guarantee for the modernization of agriculture in the western region and even the whole country, and making important contributions to the development of higher agricultural education in China. The university began enrolling postgraduates in 1953, and is one of the first batch of universities in China authorized to confer bachelor's and master's degrees, and the second batch of universities authorized to confer doctoral degrees. Currently, the university has 8 first-level discipline doctoral degree authorization points, 1 interdisciplinary doctoral degree authorization point, 1 professional doctoral degree authorization category, 20 first-level discipline master's degree authorization points and 14 professional master's degree authorization categories.

The university has successively signed cooperation agreements with more than 80 universities, scientific research institutions and international organizations in more than 30 countries, carrying out pragmatic exchanges and cooperation in joint student training, academic exchanges and scientific research cooperation. It has established the "Gansu Agricultural University President's Scholarship for International Students" to attract outstanding international students to pursue master's and doctoral degrees at the university.

The enrollment of international students for the spring semester of the 2025-2026 academic year has now started. The specific matters are announced as follows:

1. Enrollment Categories and Quotas

Degree-seeking Students: A total of 5 doctoral and master's students will be enrolled (March-July 2026).

2. Disciplines and Majors

Relevant disciplines and majors of the university with doctoral and master's degree conferment rights enroll international students for academic education. For details, please refer to the List of Enrollment Majors for International Students of Gansu Agricultural University (Appendix 1 and Appendix 2).

3. Mode and Length of Study

(1) The study mode for international students enrolled by our university is full-time.

Our university implements a two-semester system, with the first semester from September to January, and the second semester from March to July.

(2) The academic system for academic master's students is 3 years, and for academic doctor.

(3) The international students enrolled this time will conduct intensive Chinese language study from March to July 2026, and start professional courses in their respective majors in September 2026.

4. Chinese Language Requirements

For students applying for admission in the spring of 2026, the Chinese proficiency requirement can be appropriately relaxed, but they must obtain the corresponding level of HSK certificate before starting professional courses.

Master's degree students pursuing a degree must obtain an HSK certificate with a score of 200 in the new HSK4 Level before enrollment (late August 2026).

Doctoral degree students pursuing a degree must obtain an HSK certificate with a score of 180 in the new HSK3 Level before enrollment (late August 2026).

5. Application Eligibility

(1) Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens holding a valid foreign passport, in good physical and mental health, with good character, friendly towards China, and abide by the laws and regulations of the Chinese government and the rules and regulations of the university.

(2) Academic and age requirements for applicants:

For master's degree programs: Applicants must have obtained a bachelor's degree or equivalent academic qualification, and generally be under 35 years old.

For doctoral degree programs: Applicants must have obtained a master's degree or equivalent academic qualification, and generally be under 45 years old.

6. Submission of Application Materials

All applicants must register and fill in the application information on the "Gansu Agricultural University International Student Online Service System" ( https://gsau.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx) and upload the following required application materials:

(1) Certificate of highest academic degree and transcript (notarized);

(2) Letters of recommendation: Two letters of recommendation written in Chinese or English by professors or associate professors;

(3) Proof of Chinese or English proficiency: HSK test transcript or other proof of Chinese language study, TOEFL or IELTS certificate or other proof of English proficiency;

(4) Certificate of enrollment or employment: If the applicant is a current student or employed, a certificate of enrollment issued by the school or a certificate of employment issued by the work unit must be submitted;

(5) Study or research plan in China;

(6) 800-word personal statement in Chinese or English: The content should include personal study and work experience (if any), academic research achievements, research plans in previous study stages, etc.;

(7) Foreigner Physical Examination Form: Issued by the local Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau. Applicants must strictly conduct the examination in accordance with the items required in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. The Foreigner Physical Examination Form will be invalid if it is expired, incomplete, without the applicant's photo, without a seal across the photo on the photo, or without the signature and seal of the physician or hospital;

(8) Certificate of No Criminal Record issued by the competent authority of the applicant's home country, with a Chinese translation attached; the above notarized certificate must be authenticated by the authorized agency of the applicant's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Chinese Embassy or Consulate in that country; or a certificate of no criminal record issued by the local police station where the applicant resides during his/her stay in China;

(9) Financial guarantee (e.g., bank deposit certificate).

7. Application Deadline

Applicants must submit the materials before December 15, 2025.

8. Admission Qualification and Time

Based on the applicant's overall qualifications, the availability of faculty in the chosen major, recommendations from prospective supervisors, and the university's review, Gansu Agricultural University will select the best candidates for admission. After approval, the university will issue the Admission Notice and the JW-202 Form to the admitted students.

Registration time: March 1-5, 2026. Students must report to the university on time with the admission notice. Those who fail to go through the deferment formalities and exceed the registration time by 7 days will have their admission qualification canceled.

9. Expenses

Our university provides the "Gansu Agricultural University President's Scholarship" for outstanding international master's and doctoral students, with priority given to doctoral international students.

(1) Living subsidies for international students:

Chinese language training stage: Tuition and accommodation fees are waived, and a living subsidy of 1,000 RMB per month is provided (for 5 months, March-July).

(2) President's Scholarship:

Doctoral professional study stage: Within the normal academic system (4 years), tuition and accommodation fees are waived, and a living subsidy of 1,000 RMB per month is provided (for 10 months, excluding winter vacation (February) and summer vacation (August)).

Master's professional study stage: Within the normal academic system (3 years), tuition and accommodation fees are waived, and a living subsidy of 1,000 RMB per month is provided (for 10 months, excluding winter vacation (February) and summer vacation (August)).

Other expenses such as registration fee, physical examination fee, textbook fee, insurance fee (please purchase before coming to China to ensure that the insurance is effective after entry), living expenses and miscellaneous fees shall be borne by the students themselves.
